What goes around comes around

A few months ago I got a call from a friend of the family, he is a writer and he was telling me he had just finished his latest novel, a story of how good things and bad things sometimes happen for a reason, and how frustrating it is for a victim of a crime to see the perpetrator have no remorse.

He mentioned he was looking for someone to design the book cover so i gladly offered to do it. Yesterday two fresh copies of “What goes around comes around” came through the post for me. Read more …

A year in a box

Finally after nine months, my Interactive Design course has come to an end. It has been a great year full of experiences where I’ve met lots of new people, visited many new places and have worked on various projects.

For my final assessment hand-in, I had to present all my year’s work in a clean and professional way so I thought making some prints and putting them in a nice black box together with my sketchbook would be a good way to show the work done during the year. Read more …

Flux – Interactive Design Show

Fluidity, mutability, flexibility, change, instability, fluctuation, unrest, variability… all synonyms of FLUX, but none of them sound as cool!

This project consisted on creating an show room proposal for the final year show. The show is aimed at a general public like mums and dads, families, future students, and professionals such as other designers, illustrators, photographers…

This show will be all about Interactive Design, so people understand what INTERACTIVE is, and what we do in this career.

Mail Art

For my first project i was asked to make some mail-art, or  Moticos.

Mail-art basically consist in artists sending each other artistic work using the traditional mailing system (snail mail).

So our brief consisted on generating 4 pieces of art out of 12 different questions which we could choose from. Read more …

OXYGEN DISCO – CALELLA T-SHIRT DESIGN

These are the new 2010 designs for the OXYGEN DISCO T-Shirts.
I made black T-Shirts for men and pink or white for girls.

They consist on 4 different colour layers, front and back.

TIKI FAST FOOD – RESTAURANT PIZZERIA

One of my other projects this summer has been designing the interior and exterior of Tiki Fast Food (Logo by Raúl Rabassa).

A fantastic new Restaurant, Pizzeria & Döner Kebab in Calella that opened at the begining of the season.

I designed the outside logos, the inside panels and the menu.

I also included it in the Turisme35 website.

I’ll be posting some pics as soon as I can!
