Hi! I’m John Revel, a young Interactive Design Artist currently finishing my degree in at the University of Lincoln, UK.

I studied Photography and Graphic design at ERAM in 2006 and discovered that it was what I really enjoyed doing, therefore I decided to take on the full career of Audiovisuals and Multimedia.

I’ve always considered myself good with my hands. I love building things and also taking things to bits, just to find out how they work. Therefore I felt I had found a place which fulfilled my desire to make and do the things witch I really enjoyed.

I love technology and I’m amazed at the speed thing are evolving, for example the changes that are being made in Cinema, with digital filming, 3D Stereoscopy, the Internet and the gadgets and gizmos that are coming out.

The thing is, I also love the traditional side of things, because lately everything seems to be happening on a screen (like facebook, youtube, massive online games…) which is great to see what people do in the rest of the world, but sometimes I enjoy doing things with people close to me. I would like to be able to combine new technology with things that bring people together in more of a personal way.

In my spare time I like spending time with my girl and my cats and my family and friends. I’m a bit of a musician, I play the harmonica, the guitar and the bass and love jamming with friends in the local venues.
